So, according to THR, several pilots are close to be set for the 2017-2018 season. Network Black Lightningupfronts are typically held in May.

The CW had already renewed most of its line-up, including Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Riverdale. Coincidentally, all of those shows are produced by Greg Berlanti.

Now it looks like the Fox produced and passed on pilot Black Lightning will officially get picked up as a mid-season show. Great news!

Unfortunately, it will likely not figure into next season’s major crossover, unless BL makes an appearance to tease the upcoming show.

Either way, I can’t wait!

Also noteworthy,  next season may include two new Marvel series. ABC-TV’s The Inhumans and Fox’s X-Men series.

FX‘s Legion will return for a new season.

Fox’s Gotham is looking likely for another season of pre-Batman antics.

And Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is a sure bet.

Oh, one last thing.  Guess who’s returning for the season finale of Supergirl?
